Welcome to April 2010 OBC! Lets work hard this month folks!
How do we define hard work at OBC? It’s easy, think of a one to ten scale where one is sleeping and ten is sprinting so hard that your lungs are going to turn inside out. Hard work is found above the six mark. One of the great things about OBC is the ability for everyone to get an intense workout despite your current fitness level. This means that Usain Bolt (Olympic champion sprinter) may be running 12 miles an hour to get to a level six but running half as fast gets us to the same exertion level. This is a good thing! The only requirement is the desire to push out of your comfort zone and into the hard work zone. When we transition from station to station or even between exercises, push into that hard work zone where it becomes uncomfortable and you will increase your fitness level. When we run for a longer distance, pick up the pace to the point where you pass people and make it to the front of the pack. Even if it’s only once during the workout, try and get to that uncomfortable feeling and increase your fitness. Remember, it hurts because it’s good for you. We’ll provide the fun workout, the hard work is up to you.
On the push people!
Nice Josh
