Long Run around the Lake

Well we survived the rain on Monday and got to enjoy the Lake on Tuesday....well kinda..giggles
Some of us have run the lake many times, while others have not at all, when you first start out you think around the lake might not be too bad, however the first stretch is a good bit of up and down hills, and they are pretty steep as well. As we were trotting along this morning, one special thing stuck out in my mind, determination....I saw so many of you push through and not quit and make it to the end, even though it would have been so much easier to stop and give in to the tempation of quitting... As I was joggin along I got such a joy out of watching all the newbies, who are not so new anymore, really push through and really dig deep and find that determination to keep going, getting their mind and heart right and allowing those legs to follow. I am always amazed at the will we have and have no idea until you try. Each of you have SO MUCH TO BE PROUD OF!!! You all are WINNERS!!! Today was such a great turning point for so many of you, when you first began the thought of running 4 miles, was impossible...would never happen and look at all of you today!!! Finishing strong and pulling through to the end...
I am so very proud of each and every one of you campers, instructors, EVERYONE!!!
You all did a fabulous job today!! WAY TO GO!!
