Good Tears

This is my second camp and I still find that I struggle through some of the work outs but I keep pushing with the help of the amazing instructors. My first mile time was 15:58, I was disappointed but new I could improve. Four weeks later, I ran 15:03. I was thrilled. So today we did the PT test once more, eight weeks since my first mile run. I wanted to run under 15 minutes, that's all, just to beat my time by 3 seconds. I hit the last stretch and ran hard as my instructors yelled and cheered me on. Then Dori gave me my time, 13:55. I burst out in tears, I was so amazed I was able to push myself that hard. Other instructors and campers celebrated with me, they understood how hard it was and the joy of the reward. The level of improvement is mind boggling to me. The results that the whole class achieved is inspiring, every camper improved! I am so excited to see what future boot camps hold for me. The positive feeling I now have cannot be found anywhere else. Thank you OBC and instructors.
