Week 2 in review for me (Ernie)

Monday: When I can get up and make it to OBC at 05:15 a.m. on a MONDAY then doing the same the rest of the week should be a breeze. This was my 22nd Monday in a row accomplishing such.

Tuesday: Today we did suicide drills in 3 different locations with active recovery while we waited our turn to run. It has been a few months since I had done this workout, but I could tell a big difference in my conditioning, especially when we did the last suicide runs on the hill. After the workout I also remembered a hard earned lesson from the last time and made sure to ice my achilles and calve muscles.

Wednesday: The workout today involved teaming up with a person, aka wingman, to do exercises in sync with each other. My wingman today was Herb. Even if this is your 1st camp I'm sure you know Herb by now. In my opinion, if Herb ever wanted to change professions he could find work in the comedy field. For that matter, at least 1/2 the instructors could work alongside Herb. Yes another reason why I like OBC, it makes me laugh.

Thursday: "Pick your poison" workout today. Everyone pushed hard to finish the workout station as a group. The multiple choice decision on which workout to finish up with was fun.

Friday: It would have been very easy to sleep in for another hour today since I knew I had a long day ahead preparing for the bbq contest. However, I would have been cheating myself for not doing what I've committed to. Great workout today which consisted of running, band exercises, and ab exercises.

Saturday: Congrats to all the race runners today. My unofficial workout today was called "all about bbq". Way to many physical and mental things to list, but trust me I got a good workout because I was sore and tired by the end of the day.
