Today is the first "homework" day of this month's boot camp for our new campers! As you determine which exercises to complete, ask yourself, "how will I decide?"
Each day we determine internally how much energy, how much push we are going to give. Will we give 110%, or is this looking like a 85% day? some may ask themselves. But boot camp isn't about giving only what you think you have to give in each workout. You will have to ask yourself, do I have any more to give...and when that answer is YES (because it will almost always be yes), give it. I have a friend, a very accomplished businessman that I met while in college. His accomplishments and mental attitude about things always impressed me, and one day I asked him, "How do you do it? How do give that extra effort each day without getting bogged down in circumstances?" His answer was simple.
I do what I can, and then I do MORE.
So how will you decide? How will you know when you have reached the end of your limits, and will you dig deep for the "more" to accomplish your goals? We all have to answer that question for ourselves, but it is my hope that you discover during your time with the OBC crew that whenever you feel you've given all you've got, there's always more left to give!
Let's make that homework, work! Hoo-ah!
